Therefore, one study found that newborns born to mothers who received vitamin K daily had no difference in newborn gait. However, daily intake of vitamin K during pregnancy shows a significant increase in the amount of blood in the umbilical cord and breast milk .
Because vitamin K facilitates bleeding, adequate intake during pregnancy may reduce the risk of miscarriage, but there is no research yet on this. . Also, ask your gynecologist or obstetrician about taking calcium and magnesium during pregnancy, as calcium plays an important role in blood clotting  and magnesium can affect the amount of calcium your body gets .
The next important pregnancy vitamin in okra is folic acid! Folate, also known as vitamin B9, helps reduce the risk of childhood malnutrition, which affects the brain and spine of the developing fetus .
One serving of okra provides 15 percent of a woman’s daily folate needs, and with other folate-rich foods and a prenatal vitamin, you should be getting enough of this vitamin.
