Dermalogica Pregnancy Safe

Dermalogica Pregnancy Safe – During pregnancy, it is very important to develop a skin care routine during pregnancy. We’ll dive into why as well, and I’ll also share what mine looks like so you can create your own pregnancy skincare routine!

I’ve been getting a lot of comments about my skin lately and it’s the best. One of my goals for 2019 it was better to take care of yourself, including skin care! To be honest, I am not perfect in my routine. There are days when I fall asleep without following the full regimen. Some days are harder than others and there have been times when I just wash my face with a damp cloth and call it good.

But in general, I really try to take care of my skin as much as I can. A while ago I shared in an Instagram post that I was trying to learn to accept who I am and how my body looks. And I think the same goes for my skin. I was always very ashamed of my freckles and pale skin. When I was little, my brother used to say, “Because God made a screen through a hole.” Therefore, I always had a negative relationship with them. But they are a part of me, just like my blue eyes and white hair.

My Current Skincare Routine

I’m no skin care expert – let’s get this out of the way. However, earlier this year I decided to have a facial and my aesthetic was amazing. You guys know I love dermalogica – I share about their products all the time. So when we moved to California and realized they were headquartered here, I knew where to go for my front page.

Not in the California area? Or maybe you don’t have time to visit your local spa? The Dermalogica website has this great facial mapping. Just upload a photo of yourself with clean skin without makeup and they will recommend products for you. I am obsessed with the face mapping tool and recommend it to everyone I know. They think about your skin concerns and offer products to help!

Full disclosure: 99% of these products are dermalog. Why? Because all dermalogica products are gluten-free, vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and free of artificial fragrances and colors. And when the esthetician created my personal skin care plan, she recommended products she used herself and knew would work for me. My skincare concerns: Dullness, uneven tone, redness, dark circles and dry skin. Whatever she recommends or uses, we’re sure it’s safe for pregnancy.

Pregnancy Skin Care: Reyenna Shares Her Wisdom

1: Special cleaning gel. It is heaven for my combination skin. It’s soap-free, so it’s great for both dry and oily skin. Take a pea-sized amount and rub it into the palm of your hand to create a lather. And wash your face!

2: Antioxidant Hydramista. Spray all over skin to firm and hydrate. This combination of rose and carnation gives a really nice scent!

3: Redness Eliminating Essence. A brand new product that I’ve only been using for about 2 weeks but I’m already hooked. It’s a lightweight toner, so it can be used after toner, in place of toner, or before moisturizer! Aloe vera and oats moisturize and soothe the skin. It reduces redness immediately and the more I use it the less redness I get!

4: Stress positive eye lift. With pregnancy insomnia and kids who hate sleep, it’s in my eyes. The applicator is magical and helps to cool the eye area while lifting, exfoliating and brightening. After the serum, I apply it liberally, brush my teeth, and then wipe off the excess cream with a towel or massage it into my skin.

It helps to even out skin tone and reduce acne breakouts.

2: Daily Microfoliant + Daily Superfoliant. If I wear makeup I use Superfoliant and if I’m bare I use Microfoliant. In both cases, pour a small amount into your hands and mix with water to form a paste. Then gently massage the skin. These glow and help fight air pollution.

6: Smooth skin cream. I use it as a night cream. It put the kiba on my dry patches! If you struggle with dry skin, you NEED this. Every night I add a drop to my Paradise Island and mix before applying to my face.

7: Sound Sleep Cocoon. My magic night skin care secret! It contains lavender and patchouli so it promotes a good night’s sleep and I swear if I remember to use it at night I wake up feeling amazing. I put it on my face before bed and then put it in a bag.
